Ombre
a french term meaning “shaded.” usually a multicolored stripe, with colors graduating from light to dark. the color effect, generally produced by arranging different tones in the warp.
this is often seen in hair, clothes, or even art.
girl 1: d-mn gurl your hair looks awesome.
girl2: yeah betch it’s the new ombre look. be jealous.
a hair color. sorta brown, kinda blond. a lot of girls dye their hair this color and it is annoying when they try to explain it but have no clue what it really is and only did it because everyone else is. can’t you just say brown or blond? no. it must be ombré.
