Pereiruta

a derogatory designation in spanish that refers to a native dame of the colombian city of pereira; the word comes from a combination of “pereirana” (pereiran woman) and “puta” (wh-r-). noteworthy by the local urban legend which dictates that prost-tution flourished in the city after the workers were expelled from the northern city of medellin.

though not properly a prost-tute in the whole significance of the term, a pereiruta is referred as such because of her appearance and demeanor, which evokes an actual prost-tute. a pereiruta is not necessarily ugly, but she is remarkably sk-nky
“esa muchacha tiene tremenda cara de pereiruta.” (that girl really looks like a pereiruta)
