Phagophobia
a term describing the fear of swallowing, usually developed in young children as a result of being force-fed medicine.
sometimes related to the fear of being eaten.
phagophobia is not to be confused with a fear of eating (sitophobia) or a fear of choking (pseudodysphagia), both of which have their own separate cl-ssification.
jimmy hasn’t eaten anything solid in months because of his phagophobia.
