combining oliver and james phelps (george and fred weasley from the harry potter series by j.k. rowling) in a sentence. instead of saying “oliver and james phelps,” one would say “the phelpsies are awesome.”
“i adore the phelpsies!” or “the phelpsies rock.”
members of the anti-gay group who protest at the funerals of american military personnel killed in iraq, led by the rev. fred phelps. phelps believes american deaths in iraq are divine punishment for a country that he says harbors h-m-s-xuals. the group finances their activities by suing churches and individuals by claiming impairment of their first amendment rights and -ssault by angry and disgusted mourners.

someone with technically large feet or body shape similar to a swimmer. in this case, similar to the swimmer michael phelps.
