a special type of perseverance displayed by a young pet, especially a dog, marked by a steadfastness in the act of urinating numerous times on its training pad in order to obtain as many rewards as possible such as a meaty treat or bone, despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.
his dachshund’s p-sseverance ill-strates its single-mindedness to get lots of treats. in the course of one day, it drank 10 gallons of water and always held some back each time it p-ssed so it could turn the next pad yellow at will. now that’s not normal doggedness. that’s p-sserverance!
