Playa Tech
a form of the musical subgenre tech house but a much more spiritual, tribally, eastern, world music sounding, trance inducing, yoga friendly variety. performed on the playa at burning man and other like minded parties.
rainbow: “eww this music sounds like disco with a banging 4×4 beat, real keys, instruments and a soulful sounding vocalist sometimes behind it. what is this? and everyone’s dancing so hard to it i can’t even fit my hula hoop in here or do proper yoga poses without being knocked down!”
robert: “aww rainbow, you’re just used to sunrise playa tech because of all the burning man’s you’ve attended. here in the city people prefer dancing to jackin house music at a warehouse at 6am.”
