a new word used in the oct. 2015 general conference of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints by elder devin durrant, which immediately became a social media sensation. ponderize appears to be a combination of the words “ponder” and “memorize.” ponderize describes the act of selecting a verse of scripture, and posting it in a place where you will see it often. whenever you see the scripture you will think about its meaning and how it applies to life.
after i ponderized the scripture “my father dwelt in a tent” (1 nephi 2:15) i decided there is no way joseph smith could make that cr-p up… has to come from heaven.
