doing all the other ch-r-s you can think of while not taking care of the one thing you actually -need- to get done. lets you feel like you accomplished something without actually taking care of business.
friend one : i cleaned the whole house, did laundry, and mowed the lawn but i didn’t get over to the dmv to renew my plates.
friend two: wow, that’s a lot of procrastaworking just to avoid the line at the dmv.
