here are a few instances using programmed retail response:

(upon a customer entering)
-ssociate: “how’s the weather today?”
shopper: “i’m fine. how are you?”

(upon a customer leaving)
-ssociate: “fuel for satan’s fire!”
shopper: “thanks. you too!”
