project mentality
a behavior typically encountered in urban neighborhoods and housing project areas. where the did not not see any thing don’t know anything concept is practiced in a uniformed way. the understanding that no one needs to worry about you and you do not worry about them. there is no concern for problems occuring within your community, neighborhood or for your next door neighbor unless it affects you or your property directly.
the homeowners -ssocation held a meeting to organizing a neighborhood park clean up day. one neighbor spoke out indicating that is was not our park why should we clean it up. several people in the meeting said that he should give up project mentality way of thinking.
