psoworld
a niche gaming web site that was founded in early 2001 to cover the video game phantasy star online for the sega dreamcast, hence the name pso-world (or phantasy star online world). the site quickly grew in size due to word of mouth and mentions in popular gaming magazines (such as electronic gaming monthly, which called it a “fan site done right”). pso-world.com provides guides and information for each release in the phantasy star franchise, including t-tles like phantasy star universe, phantasy star portable, and phantasy star 0 (zero).
psoworld is also home of fkl (fresh kills landfill), a sub-forum originally meant for discarded and deleted message board threads, which eventually sp-wned an entire community of its own.
