a regular of a specific pub, who often has stories to tell of his previous pub-centric exploits. these experiences will generally have had a positive outcome, although often obstacles will have been navigated through first.
william is my new pub hero. he told me last week about his run in with united’s firm in 1974. he came out with two black eyes and a lot of pride. what a man!
