pulling a hoagie is defined as, saying you will be back in a few minutes during a skype call, online video game or any other way of communicating with friends over the internet; then either coming back about two hours or more later; to pull a hoagie one can also never come back.
example 1:
person one: did you hear jeffery’s dad pulled a hoagie on him?
person two: yeah he never shuts up about it.
person one: can you blame him? it must have been very traumatic.
