a delectible fruit commonly identified by its sometimes furry outer covering and musky scent. one must be wary of picking out fresh puntangalo- either under ripe or overly seasoned the puntangalo has a very narrow middle ground of perfect freshness. while an in season puntangalo is both delectible and a treasure, out of season puntangalos are considered to be an aquired taste.
the puntangalo’s overly musky odor and mussed fur prompted the question “are these puntangalos fresh?”
