ravexcore
a type of group and/or person who listens to rave music (house, techno, electronica, etc.) and partic-p-tes in raving activities such as dancing to rave music with glowsticks, black lights, strobe lights, etc. constantly.

ravexcore, properly spelled “ravexcore”, is a group of metal-heads who, when under the influence of alcohol, love to listen to trance, techno, and happy hardcore. the group originaly started in effingham, illinois in early 2007. the main theme of the group was to rebel against strait-edgers, who were begining to have an influence in the area. raveecore became know after they created a mysp-ce page. the members of the group all have numbers, the founding members being #1, #13, #xxx (30), #420, and #666.
at one time, all members had earlobes stretched to 5/8. before becoming members, one must recite the anthem of ravexcore, “i’m a raver” by dj rankin. the raves, refered to as “meetings” usually take place on friday/sat-rday. the offical drink of ravexcore is “the sunny driver”, a mix of vodka and sunny-d. the now infamous, “ravexcore night of mischief” took place on april 2, 2007. video footage of this and other events are said to be lurking on the internet, including the “terrorist” video. as of now, it seems to be only an effingham thing, but popularity could be growing.
