rubber-time
rubber-time is the english translation of the indonesian phrase ‘jam karet’. it literally translates as a period of time which is made of rubber or elastic. there is a general acceptance that people will be late. someone does not appear on time, or is late – shoulders are shrugged. “oh well, it’s rubber time.”
