Rubbernecked
1.) when someone calls your name, you turn your head quickly to look, and no one is there to speak to you anymore.
2.) when someone drives by in a car and beeps a horn and when you turn you cannot figure out who it was.
rubbernecker: “hey, john.”
john (turns head): “yes?”
-(no one is in sight anymore)
rubbernecker(to friends): “nice, i just rubbernecked the sh-t out of that kid.”
