to “safety fail” is to intentionally fail or fail to complete a major -ssignment or test in a given cl-ss because (according to calculations) it is impossible for the -ssignment to cause one’s overall grade in the cl-ss to drop by a letter or have any significant changes

chris: haha i didn’t…i took a nap. i had over a 100% in that cl-ss so it wouldn’t have changed my grade. i might as well have safety failed it.
