Sam’s hand
originally from finnish people camping in estonia and developing new meanings and sayings, the original saying was “samin käsi” which directly translates to sam’s hand. when at a card game you get the worst possible hand to play f. ex. when playing china hand you have three threes in your hand.
“d-mn this is such a sam’s hand”
“i won! i guess it’s all up to your sam’s hand though”
