Scrooginess
developed from the word scrooge after the christmas character who hated all things christmas. scrooginess is a state of being like a “scrooge” kill joy, mean spirited, wet blanket, fun burglar, downer, character when proclaiming personal distaste for anything based on the christmas holiday theme.
