a type of solution that is not illegal, but borders on illegality. this term was originated by a law student who would get legal questions from friends and family. this student founded www.shadysolution.com a place where people could ask questions and receive advice on possible ways to solve their problems, without paying a lawyer and without ending up in jail.
you agree to buy a house, then you realize you dont want it. the contract is solid. you need a way out. you could hire a lawyer or lose your earnest money. or you can tell the real estate agent that there are too many pedophiles in the neighborhood of the new house. this is a good faith reason to get out of the contract, and an example of a shady solution
