Shaky Town
in the world of big rig truckers, shaky town is referring to los angeles, due to the earthquakes that make the buildings “shake”. san francisco is commonly referred to as the “gay bay.”
in the song “convoy” by c.w. mccall (bill fries), he refers to the convoy being on i-10 a mile out of shaky town. i-10 does not run into sanfran.
