Sherlock

bringing out he best of british t.v., the beeb brought us sherlock, starring the gorgeous benedict c-mberbatch as sherlock holmes and the adorable martin freeman as john watson.
the series is mainly set in the modern day london. we still have 221b and, of course, mrs hudson (una stubbs) as well as our other favourite characters such as d. i. lestrade (rupert graves), mycroft holmes (mark gatiss) and james “jim” moriarty (andrew scott).
“i’m going to watch sherlock tonight on the t.v. i’ve been waiting ages for this new series!”
a derogatory name (derived from sherlock holmes) given to someone who makes a revelation or discovery which he thinks is a big deal, but which is common knowledge or very obvious. usually used in conjunction with “no sh-t”
harold finally found out what everyone else already knows….that mich-lle, the chick who looks and dresses like a guy, is a raving lesbian. when he told me, i said “no sh-t, sherlock?”
its a modern take on the cl-ssic sherlock holmes stories. also the best tv series you will ever watch; made by the evil, amazing mark gatiss, jim moffat and stephen thompson. may i suggest trying to get yourself emotionaly prepared for the most intese feels you will ever have; but to be honest, it won’t help. p.s. its british, its on netflix, dat c-mberb-m and don’t look up the tag on tumblr unless you want it to be ruined.
person1: do you know any good tv shows? i’m thinking of watching a new series..
p2: have you herd of sherlock? (mwhahaha)
p1:no. is it good?
p2: it’s amazing
p1: i guess i’ll watch it then, thanks.

-person 2 is laughing because, person 1 has no idea what they are getting themselfs into
legend has it that there is a dangerous fandom called ‘sherlock’. when you enter this fandom you never come back. you are put under the spell of benedict c-mberbatch and andrew scott. their evil controller steven moffat will entrance you in rage of his evil cleverness. sherlock is a modern version of the famous stories by sir arthur conan doyle. moffat takes these stories to a new level…
mom: what are you up to?
me: just gonna watch some sherlock!
mom: -throws laptop on the floor- no!
an awesome show based on the books by arthur conan doyle

watch it…seriously…
person 1: what are you doing later
person 2: watching sherlock bbc.
