Shostle
a combination of jostle and shuffle, it occurs when two people walking opposite directions on a sidewalk are about to run into each other, so they each attempt to move out of the way in the same direction, resulting in an awkward controntation where everybody is shuffling one way or the other — often repeatedly — to try to get out of each other’s way.
this stupid woman was coming towards me and we shostled for what felt like five minutes till i got past her.
