when you incur heavenly wrath, it has been said by the catholic churches forever (or at least the bits i listened to) that g-d will smite you. it’s also commonly acknowledged that this smiting will be done with a bolt of lightning, if g-d’s in a particularly stylish mood. so, you get struck by what? smitening!
d-mn, i shouldn’t have stolen that priest’s car, or raped his wife. g-d’s going to throw down some -zap- smitening. ….sh-t, that hurt….
