a plug of cotton or the like for insertion into a nostril for absorbing snot and keeping it from dribbling down your top lip and into your mouth.
i’ve been sniffling all day, but now, with my snampon, i can rest -ssured that my snot won’t drip onto my sandwich as i’m eating.
