the act of a first shot miss in battle or on a fps game
or
the act of missing to attract the attention of a player or target to get them to move to a better fireing position.

gamer 3 -has other sniper and head shots gamer 1 and 2-
to salute an officer in a combat zone, so as to designate him a high value sniper target. especially useful in an area where enemy snipers are known to be operating
