somaekcol
a portmanteau of the words soju, maekju, cola. you will need 2 shot gl-sses, a regular beer gl-ss, and the ingredients below.
soju – korea’s famous liquor
maekju – beer (a gl-ss of it, any brand will do)
cola – coca cola
pour the c-ke into half a shot gl-ss. stack the 2nd shot gl-ss on top, and fill this one to the brim with soju. now fill the gl-ss about 3/4 full of beer. pick up the gl-ss with your dominant hand, and the stack of shot gl-sses (still stacked) with your other hand. in one swift motion, drop the shots into the gl-ss of beer (hopefully they stay stacked and upright), and immediate start chugging. if you do it right, the 2 shot gl-sses will separate past a certain tilt angle, releasing the c-ke. you’ll basically consume a pile of spiked beer, with a sweet cola finish at the very end.
this has got to be the most awesome korean invention ever.
somaekcol is the #1 reason why the north ain’t got nothing on the south.
if you’re ever at a party and some girls are lame and won’t drink straight beer, a somaekcol will sweeten the deal (no pun intended) quite nicely for them.
