definition which applies to most people in this god forsaken world describing those who discriminate against, exploit and abuse animals in ways that they wouldn’t dream of doing themselves simply because everyone else is doing it. with some thought speciesism would end in a heartbeat.
johny got his burger from mcdonald’s not thinking twice of the misery, suffering and torment the animal had suffered to make his burger because he was a speciesist.
derogatory term for someone who regards our fellow humans as more worthy of our care and attention than other forms of life, used by the kind of person who wants everyone to be eaten by lions on the serengheti.
i’m a human, i’m a speciesist and i’m proud of it.
