(stoo’pid bom) – n. a suddenly detonated change of subject during the course of conversation resulting in the destruction of intelligent subject matter. typically the result of a lack of understanding, respect, or care for those present.
1. last night, i was having a very interesting conversation with john perry barlow regarding the legal issues of podcasting; that was until some fella rolled up and dropped a stupid bomb.
2. it was a fine script stupid-bombed by hollywood’s need for a happy ending.
