Supapond
a body of fresh water surrounded by land on all sides that is too big to be called a pond, but too small to be called a lake. a supapond is typically between 1 and 10 acres.
my uncle ralph had a small two acre pond and then he dug a huge five acre ditch (without dec approval) which created a supapond.
