Tag Team Thread
a tag team thread or triple t is when a person on yelp with no review starts a thread requesting a service or restaurant and another yelper with no reviews posts the answer with the sole purpose of backhanded advertising on the threads.
this term was derived by carla l of the miami yelp flelpers
yelper #1 “hi everyone! does anyone know where i can find the best prices for the best wedding photographer in the metropolitan area who really cares about their customers?”
yelper #2 “well, i just happened to get married last week and used xyz and my oh, my their prices were stellar, their service on time and perfect and they even threw in a free mani and pedi for my pooch jacomo! just call x at 786 555 1212, or go to their website www.(blank).com and tell them i sent you and get a $50 discount!”
yelper #3 “hey guys did anyone notice this is a tag team thread or triplet?”
