the juicy show aired on wgsu, 89.3 the revolution from 1999-2003. the host of the show, dj du, held down the only hip hop show that suny geneseo’s radio station had for 4 years. now, the station features many more hip hop shows and includes them in rotation.
but the juicy show was more than a hip hop show. it featured a playlist of (international) music that was delectable and fun to listen to; often focused on the beaty, rhythmic sounds found in indian, spanish, electronic, and reggae music. the juicy show is rumored to make a comeback on the air via podcast.
is it time? is it really time for dj du and the juicy show? holla (echo)
