a jamaican jerk-style marinade made primarily of pineapples, habanero peppers, allspice, thyme and garlic. the brand name “the shizzle” was suggested by early devotees of the recipe who thought it was “the sh-t”, and began using this jive related term to endearingly describe the product before it was commercialized.
