throwback rock
a genre of music, characterized by a sound that is similar to cl-ssic rock, arena rock, glam rock, etc., but recorded by artists not active in that genre’s age of popularity. often includes a large empahsis on guitars and keyboards. artists in this genre include, but are not limited to: dragonforce, velvet revolver, bang camaro, endeverafter, coheed and cambria, etc.
i love throwback rock as much as the old stuff.
