when drinking with friends, you toast to t-ts and -ss, what with them being two of lifes great pleasures. you do this by first clinking the upper parts of your alcoholic beverage recepticals, (gl-ss) and then the lower parts, while reciting “t-ts and -ss”.
tim: “heres your pint buddy!”

br–sts and female b-ttocks. this expression comes from the entertainment industry, and may well date to the vaudeville era. it means using feminine beauty, in various states of undress, to spice up or ornament a dramatic or musical show. often used cynically to imply that the tastes of audiences are of the lowest common denominator: shallow and s-xually-obsessed, failing to appreciate other aspects of a show thought “finer”, such as drama, action, talent or music.
example 1: when we staged this show, we included a number of scantily-clad female dancers, because all audiences really want nowadays is t-ts ‘n’ -ss.
example 2: you’re spending how much on your musicians for this show? don’t you know that all people really want is t-ts ‘n’ -ss?
example 3: in the 1960’s, pop music was really about talent and musical ability. now it’s all about t-ts ‘n’ -ss.
first born in scarborough, ontario. a form of a traditional clinking of beer bottles as one would say “cheers”. first the involved parties clink together the tops of their beer bottles and announce “t-ts!”, following closely is the clinking of the bottom of the bottles together announced “and -ss!”.
