to mistakenly use a word that is a synonym, but has or could have a different definition to what you meant to say.
instead of :
i knew you were crazy, but now i can clearly see your nuts.
you say:
i knew you were crazy, but now i can clearly see your b-lls.
trafrofling slip b-lls for nuts.
