a person(s) who defends a person with triggers (or other mental issues) or attempts to pre-warn others to someone’s trigger. while valid, it can often backfire on the person doing the defending as they can be seen as a white knight.
steve, monica’s trigger guard, told everyone to stop posting pictures from five nights at freddy’s because it was one of her triggers.
