trolling for sympathy
a person who uses social network website like facebook, mysp-ce, twitter, etc as a diary in which they post extremely personal things such as family deaths, break-ups, or other depressing situations that a normal person would not want to share openly in order to gain attention from people. chronic sympathy trollers will post these types of updates weeks, months, or even years after an event has happened.
“holy sh-t dude we don’t give a rats -ss about bobby’s break up two weeks ago, but he still posts depressing cr-p on facebook trolling for sympathy from anyone that is gullible enough to reply.”
