Unique Opportunity
a deceitful promise of great reward and glory offered to an unfortunate individual to partic-p-te in an unpleasant task.
the unique opportunity is delivered in such a way as to motivate the individual to see past the cruel and loathsome task ahead.
in most situations, the ‘unique opportunity’ is given by a delegator otherwise known as ‘master’.
the ‘master’ is known for his/her dark craft-like ability in deflecting an undesired task to an unforuntate individual in the form of a unique opportunity.
master: hey david, i have a unique opportunity for you! i need you to go downstairs into the cellar and clear up all the rat sh-t, your efforts will be very much appreciated.
david: (sigh) ok.
