unreachable lover
someone who happened to like you awhile ago and is now going out with your best friend. he/she no longer likes you, still has a thing for you, but liked your best friend after you. you barely started liking him, but after he’s unattainable.
my guy best friend is an unreachable lover. now he’s going out with my girl best friend and we barely realized that at one point we liked each other.
