noun: a person that simply tries too hard. desperately in search for something that just is not obtainable. if this person had 3 wishes, they would wish for more wishes. they would wish their friend three wishes so that on their last wish, their friend would wish them three more wishes. the word is derived from the word “junkie”. originally coined wish junkie then shortened to wishie.
