this phrase was introduced at t-mobile usa by rob strickland while he was cio. the intent was to remind people that the actions by the it teams impact customers and to always be aware of what that means to a customer’s experience.

moderation: what’s the witce?

network guy: the witce is that there will be timeouts when customers update their account on-line.
