an event on the opening day of each season at lake louise mountain resort in which everyone and their dog comes to ski the only run open at the time, wiwaxy, over and over again, resembling a rally race such as the indy 500. it usually occurs on the 9th or 10th of november.
man, louise is opening tomorrow, you wanna bust out the rock skis and hit up the wiwaxy 500?
there’s been like no snow, looks like it’s gonna be another wiwaxy 500 this year.
