mandarin chinese for “foreign devil”. written as “洋鬼子“。 compared to laowai, this is actually pretty offensive. probably the chinese equivalent of “n-gg-r”.
white guy: the dvd guy ripped me off just because i was a yangguizi.
chinese person: don’t say that. that’s not a good word.
