youshiki
the term used for a person or company that acts as if it is capable of doing a certain job towards its customers, but in reality outsources jobs as soon as they come in.
the youshiki asks a customer some monetary amount, and pays the people who do the actual work less. the youshiki then keeps the difference.
phil: i hired a j-panese company to inspect this building, but they sent some mexican company to do it instead.
bob: i’m afraid you have wasted your money on a youshiki.
phil: had i known this, i would have hired the mexican company straight away.
