студеното запознанство изразява действието, което извършваме, когато спираме или отиваме при съвсем непозната жена, запознаваме се с нея (в бара, на улицата, в магазина, на спирката и т.н.) и започваме разговор. при студеното запознанство ние нямаме никаква връзка с тази жена (като общи приятели или друг социален кръг). счита се за един от най-трудните подходи, който се практикува от много малък на брой мъже.
