normally used for forums and message boards, and instant messaging. it’s the act of placing “-“‘s around a verb or phrase to signify thaty it’s on action.
today on aim i used some crazy action stars to express my feelings!
action stars are great for terms like -cuts-, -cries-, and -slices-.
