aetherius
the realm of the gods in the elder scrolls game series, created by bethesda game studios, and published by bethesda softworks (minus the elder scrolls: online, of which zenimax took part in creating). aetherius is also known as the land of the magna-ge, the original spirits. the eight divines (akatosh, dibella, mara, ect) (talos, aka, tiber septim, was added to the pantheon after he saved all of nirn, the planet that the elder scrolls games take place on) were magne-ge at one point in time, and still are, but are bound to mundus, the mortal plain, after giving up much of their power to create mundus. gods that fled after realizing that in creating mundus they would be giving up much of their power, are now known as the daedra, elvish for not-our-ancestors. the gods that stayed are known as the aedra, elvish for our-ancestors. the moons, m-sser and secunda are theorized to be the corpse of a fallen magna-ge, known as lorkhan, who was supposedly the one who suggested the idea of mundus in the first place.
