Akbarium
another word for a mosque: a building where they frequently say ‘allahu akbar’ (god is great). typically, these types of constructions are ‘akbar’; large, distinctive and loud.
i’m regularly shaken out of bed before sunrise every morning because of that akbarium down the road.
